Worship

Worship takes place in Trinity's historic sanctuary at 8:30 am and 11:00 am. These services of worship are traditional in nature, with a central focus on the reading and proclamation of God's word. Our primary resource for congregational singing is the Evangelical Lutheran Worship resource. The sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month at both services.

In addition to our regular Sunday worship, a brief service of the Word with prayers and hymns takes place each Friday at 12:30 pm in the Rengier Chapel, September - May.

Holy Trinity Church is the spiritual heir of over two and one-half centuries of Christian witness in the Colony and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Originating a half-century before the Declaration of Independence, the congregation is the oldest in Lancaster and one of the oldest in Pennsylvania. The beautiful sanctuary stands today as one of America's front line colonial churches, historically and architecturally.
