Vacation Bible School at Holy Trinity

VBS is

• for all children who are Pre K-5th grade!
• where children experience Bible truths using their five senses as they rotate through several workshops(cooking, movie, computer, art, games, etc.)
• a great place to meet and bring friends
• more than just learning Bible principles and stories, it's an adventure!

Youth Ministry at Holy Trinity

Youth Group:

• TrY (Trinity Youth) group reaches out to the 'tweeners' who are in grades 3, 4 &5. Youth meetings and activities as well as service events are offered each month.
• Jr. & Sr. High youth group participates in local, synod and national youth events and mission trips
• Meetings occur the first Sunday evening of each month from 6-8 PM in the Parish House.
• Provides a safe space where teens can relax, share and grow in their Christian faith as Lutherans.
• Sponsors Christ-centered events, activities and retreats year round.
• Is not a clique or a social club (friends are always welcome)!

Youth Events:

• Beach Retreat (senior youth) every summer at Cape Henlopen, DE
• Alive, Alive (junior high) synod camping event takes place at Camp Nawakwa each September
• Winterfest (senior high) synod event takes place at Lancaster Host Resort each January
• 30 Hour Famine- (Sr. & Jr High) service event weekend is a joint event open to several downtown youth groups.
• Tri -annual ELCA Youth Gathering-July 22-26, 2009 in New Orleans

* LLYO (Lancaster Conference) events are open to all Lutheran youth and their friends in the greater Lancaster area.

Youth Events:

• May 17 - Jr. and Sr. High Bike Hike at Lake Redmond Park. Located in York County-we will meet in the park's upper pavilion. Event will take place from 1:30-5:30PM
• July 22-26 - ELCA Youth Gathering (New Orleans).
