Father’s Day, Bow Tie Sunday at Trinity
In May, we invited ALL to wear their favorite hat Mother's Day. We followed up with Bow Tie Sunday for Father's Day. Men, young men, even some of the ladies adorned with their "bows" are pictured here.
Holy Trinity Lutheran Church held its final confirmation class for the 2025/2026 year. Below is a photo of our proud confirmands, each holding up their fingers representing how many years of confirmation he or she has completed. Sunday, May 17th Natalie Dommel and Penelope Kramer presented a topic they have learned during their years in Confirmation. Then, as of Sunday, May 24th they are formally confirmed disciples of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
The winter weather certainly did not put a freeze on our annual Christmas Program! It was a beautiful show full of carols with audience participation, instrument solos and collaborations, and the story telling of Jesus’ birth by Trinity’s children and confirmation youth. Sunday School and Confirmation is now on a winter break. Class will start up again on Sunday, January 4th, 2026! Come join us.

Children are welcome at Holy Trinity! Our littlest disciples are welcome to worship with us on Sunday Mornings. There are children’s bulletins and children worship activity bags available in the Narthex of the sanctuary.
Children’s Sunday School
Children’s Sunday School meets at 10:45am starting in Trinity’s Chapel for music time, then the kids will go to room 202 (located on the second floor of the Parish House in the corner behind the choir room) for a Bible story and lesson. Sunday School begins after Labor Day weekend in September and continues through the weekend before Memorial Day.

Confirmation Class
Confirmation age kids, 6th, 7th and 8th graders will join the Sunday School for music time at 10:45am starting in Trinity’s Chapel. Afterwards, will go to room 205(across the hall from the choir room on the 2nd floor of the Parish House) for a lesson.

Holy Trinity and Grace Lutheran jointly offered VBS in the Summers of 2024 and 2025.
Family News
Holy Trinity at the Lancaster Barnstormers
Holy Trinity was the recognized nonprofit June 10th. Trinity's choir sang The National Anthem, and confirmation student, Hudson, threw out the 1st pitch! Between Trinity throwing the first pitch and the rousing rendition from the choir, the "Stormers" were inspired to deliver a huge comeback over their across the river rivals, The York Revs, to win 5 to 4!
Bible School Science Mondays
Grace Lutheran Church and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church this summer are collectively bringing to downtown Lancaster the 1st Summer Science Monday: God's Wonder Lab! Our little scientists, played Bible games, made slime, art with sand, heard the Bible Story of Jesus turning water into wine, and praised God through song! Everyone is invited to join us each Monday through July 6 at 6:00 pm for Science Monday at Grace, 517 N. Queen Street.

Back to School Offering
Trinity will collect a special offering to benefit the Families In Transition Program or FIT. The FIT program helps remove barriers keeping students from education who are experiencing homelessness by supplying them with school supplies, transportation, personal care items, and some clothing. These special offerings will be collected August 23rd, August 30th, and September 6th. Please write "FIT" in the memo section of your checks! If you wish to give cash, please, put the money in an envelope marked "FIT".

First Friday at Holy Trinity
Jean Weglarz, Woodward Hill Cemetery Board, presenting Woodward Hill and Zion Cemeteries. The evening will begin with the playing of our Church bells at 5 pm followed by a short organ demonstration. The main speaker presentation will start at 5:30 pm followed by sanctuary tours and refreshments. The talk will be in the sanctuary. Refreshments will be served outside the sanctuary. We will continue the series focusing on our Church history, local history, social topics, and content from our partners.

Holy Trinity is a registered team for the Lancaster Crop Hunger Walk. If you wish to join the team or make a donation, please see Rachel Kramer. No one in this world should be hungry. That's why the CROP Hunger Walk is more than just a gathering of people in a place. It's part of a movement, taking steps and raising funds together to provide meals for those in our own community who need them - and supporting programs that create greater food security in communities all around the world.
