A well-known tradition at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is to collect items for students in need, especially those at risk due to unstable housing situations including homelessness. We partner with the Families in Transition Program for the School District of Lancaster. This program assists students and their families with uniforms, sneakers, backpacks, school supplies, as well as assistance finding adequate housing, employment, food, clothing, and transportation. The Families in Transition Program would not be able to continue their mission without help from others. Here at Trinity, we focus our efforts on collecting school supplies. Please contact Rachel Kramer ([email protected]) or Nicole Heisey ([email protected]) with questions.
