I stumbled upon the Wikipedia article of the American founding father, Thomas Mifflin, which led me to Holy Trinity Lutheran parish. Being from Wisconsin, we don't have Lutheran Churches nearly as old as your parish, so it was wonderful to learn about your history.

I am a member of Triumphant Love Lutheran Church, ELCA, Austin, Texas. My great-grandparents, John Hamilton and Louisa Good were married there 16 Aug 1849. They were from Manheim Township. Do you maintain records that far back? I believe they were listed in Record Book 4, Part II, 1841-1850.

I grew up in this church, along with family and aunt and uncle and their family. I was baptized here in 1953, the year I was born. I was in the children's choir until we moved to Lititz in August 1963. We were members until 1965. I have wonderful memories growing up there and remember them fondly.

Pastors Hanus have and continue to be a blessing in my life. I’m thankful that I am able to be a part of their Sunday service.
